The California Air Resources Board (CARB) staff invite you to participate in one of two public online emissions testing training webinars covering vehicle testing requirements within the Clean Truck Check program that begin in October 2024. Periodic vehicle emissions testing requirements become effective October 1, 2024, with the first associated vehicle compliance deadlines occurring in January 2025. These tests must be performed by a CARB credentialed tester. Staff plans to walk through these new requirements and how fleets can use the Clean Truck Check reporting system, CTC-VIS, to track their upcoming testing requirements and vehicle compliance test results. 

Changes are also occurring in the way credentialed testers can review submitted compliance tests. Starting in October, credentialed testers will view their submitted test results by logging into CTC-VIS. During this webinar, staff plans to walk through the process of establishing a tester account and how a credentialed tester can track and review their submissions.

Previously, staff held six reporting and compliance training webinars between November of 2023 and May of 2024 detailing the Clean Truck Check reporting requirements and how to navigate the CTC-VIS reporting system. Training module videos have also been posted detailing these processes. If you have not reported your vehicles in CTC-VIS, please do so as soon as possible to avoid California DMV registration issues and potential CARB enforcement action. A recording of this training and specific modules focusing on the new testing features and credentialed tester process will also be posted on the Clean Truck Check Reporting page as they become available. In addition, questions and answers covered at the end of the presentation will be posted after each webinar.

The upcoming webinars will be held via Zoom. Interested parties must register for a specific date to participate. Please click on the link below to register for the meeting you wish to attend. CARB staff highly recommend participating using the Zoom Desktop or Mobile App for the best quality.
